Having said that, its hard as it seems everything has been said before somewhere or by someone.

You will change your mind.

Probably written for personal reasons Zoe, but a comment on our world. How often now do we have time to know somebody. Many of our friendships are superficial because we are conditioned to consume at a frenetic rate 24/7. We are slaves on the tradmill of economic growth and so we don't have time to just BE let along BE together.

There is much more to this one than you imagined, but then us poets work on an intuitive as well as a conscious level.

I think that many people have felt as you have. I certainly have especially around your age. However time makes a difference...from my teens to my twenties I got to know a much wider range of people and made far more connections.

Now in my forties it is more difficult again.

Anyway...don't let yourself get down. You have a great way of expressing yourself. Your issues are probably far more widespread than people admit.

I share with your feeling.I have to tell you that I'm not a native speaker.I'm from Vietnam.But I can understand your poems. Because I have felt like you before.I don't know to write Poems, but I have written a short story,so why don't you write story or even novel. Because anyway, i have to admit that I love novels than poems.I like the novels of Russian writers. It's really interesting.
I think your poems are really nice. And i really admire you.

Poetry need not rhyme. It is the content that makes poetry, not metre and verse.

Write on, Miss Zoe Lee. The world could stand a great deal more poetry and I find I am enjoying yours.

Patience, patience, it will all come good. And don't worry, all the famous poets got married eventually (well, Lord Byron sort of did, but you know what I mean).
The other thing is, blokes are boys, which is a bit of a problem when you're a sensitive young woman. If it's any consolation, half the time the boys have no idea what they are doing...

I like the fact that this poem doesn't rhyme; it can so often ruin a good poem. It would be much better if you use standard English and not text speak.
